Hello my name is André Marques, and today I am starting this new project, but first I will introduce myself.
I'm 36 years old, I work under a CLT system, a job registration system here in Brazil / I'm starting in the investment world since it's never too late to start, besides I'm a Geek / Nerd / Gamer / and Otaku, that is, I'm a fan from Japanese and Western pop culture and also a person who spends a lot on events and other related things, as well as many who share the same tastes.
From this point of view because I don't have a lot of money, just the essentials to survive, I fall into the category of crybaby because I don't have the money to buy life's nerds, in fact games are getting more expensive, action figures even more and Comics and manga don't even talk, and the events then ?? each edition more expensive, and there are many throughout the year and act pocket, and to complete the list of despair we have the cinema that every year Marvel / DC and the like release films and more films in cinemas and guess, yes cinema each film more expensive, that is, being a nerd / Geek / Otaku / gamer in Brazil is humanly impossible. Whoever has money buys and snubs at will and who doesn't have money cries the pitangas, and traveling abroad, never mind staying on YouTube videos and dreaming of the impossible.
This is the thinking of many who do not have a kid in their pocket, but I also thought so until I started learning about financial education, until I understood that as much as I like things in the Pop world, I can live with some things and still continue fan, but of course I will also have my collections obvious, but I started to rationalize spending, avoid a lot of spending and save for big works, how come? Well before I bought a lot of HQ from DC and Marvel and mainly the thin ones they had complete stories and magazines and I bought a lot of manga, until one day the publisher Panini released a compilation of Batman Cut from Owls and Batman Night from Owls, and I had bought all the saga that was released and obviously I was pissed but no with the publisher but with myself because I could have waited and bought the hardcover book that is more beautiful, and the same effect happened with Marvel, I lost some editions of Superior Spiderman and boom months later to Panini la get a complete book of Superior Spiderman, so I thought, what am I going to run for if I want to read the comic book I can get it online and just like the manga I also read online, if the story is good I go to the bookstore and buy it. The same thing happens with games, many current games after their release they invent to launch DLCs that complement the story and you pay more for the same game for more content, and I started to buy games online and on sale. But what I want to show is that after starting to respect the money things have changed, I no longer have that anxiety about running out and buying that title, or buying that action figure and such. Precisely because after you buy the money it goes to you forever for selling what you bought to pay bills.
I started this project in order to show the public that you can be a fan of pop culture and be an investor, you can earn money and spend only the relative, today many people complain that investments are rich and the whole chorus comes, then these people say that for example, Nath from the channel Me Poupe! I was already rich when she started her channel and or Primo Rico was already rich when she started her journey Towards the Million and so on, thinking about it I set out to start a journey towards nerdy wealth, with aspects closer to reality of many:
1 - I am a middle class citizen B
2 - I am an employee registered with CLT
3 - I have more debt than money
4 - I want to buy nerdy things
5 - I have a son and a woman who is rooting for me to rent a house
6 - I live on rent with my mother.
Well, I ask, if I am not a millionaire, start from scratch and reach the freedom of CLT and be able to live well, give stability to my family and not be at the mercy of the specter of unemployment and despair and of course being able to travel to the USA and go to San Diego Comicon or Sakura con, go to Disney and Universal Park, or go to Japan on an epic trip .. Dreaming is never D +.
I hope the public can follow this journey and of course we will change the thinking of many fans of Pop culture.
